Passed her Diploma and Masters in Ophthalmology from Dayanand Medical College, Panjab University. She has been actively practicing ophthalmology for the last 35 years. This vast experience has helped her to treat people over 4 generations.
Started her own hospital in 2001. Besides quality work in the hospital, she has provided sight after cataract surgery and given free glasses and free medicines to 1 lakh people. She was awarded the best social worker award in Kerala 2001 and woman of the year in 2005 by Ernakulam Woman’s Group. Life member of all India Ophthalmological Society, Kerala Society of Ophthalmology, and Cochin Ophthalmic club. Now she continues her free work.
