Contact Lens Fitting 

The lid is off the age ceiling on the use of contact lenses (CLs). Toddlers to grandmothers use CLs for a variety of indications. PMMA lenses are history. Semi soft, soft CLs, and cosmetic lenses are widely used. Guidelines for fitting lenses, their handling and problems associated with CLs etc have to be discussed in detail with the customer by the CL dispenser.

Special lenses like Bandage CLs, Rose K lenses etc have to be dispensed and closely monitored by the doctor prescribing them.

Low Vision aids is another area where the devices are customized to the needs of the person.
